Feature request: Show link target on hover
Reported by Steve Mayer | May 2nd, 2013 @ 06:32 PM
I'd love it if a popup would show a URL link target (as is done in Mail.app or Postbox) on hovering over the link in a message.
Thanks!

This is also covered by ticket #54. I haven't found an easy way to do like Apple Mail, but I'm currently looking into it again since a status bar (as mentioned in the other ticket) is not going to happen soon, and I agree that seeing the URL of a link is an important feature (security-wise).

Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences for a test version with a solution for this problem.

I don't see a URL upon hover over a link in a received email. I'm not seeing anything in the Manual about how to turn this on. Is it an optional feature? I'm on version 1.14 (5937)

It was broken with a macOS update and then fixed again. Try this one: https://updates.mailmate-app.com/archives/MailMate_r6065.tbz
