Opening some junk mail crashes my computer

Hi,
I have an odd behaviour with some junk mail that cause mailmate
to consume endless ram and freeze my computer and eventually crash
it. Looking at the mail in apple mail works fine. I had a closer
look at the email's html content in question and it appears that
this html code is causing it: <p
style="padding-bottom:50000000px;"></p>
I am happy to share the entire email's content in question, if that is helpful.
