always included between the signature and the message which one is
replying to. Ideally, only one empty line should be there,
separating the signature from the following message. The extra line
can be removed by deleting it before sending a message. However, it
seems an unnecessary task that could be avoided all together.</p>
<p>I include a screenshot to clarify what I meant: <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J2DSyBComTDFBhcSPAmwV8xACblZyDNH/view?usp=sharing">
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J2DSyBComTDFBhcSPAmwV8xACblZyDNH/v...</a></p>
<p>Suggested fix: avoid adding an extra empty line after the
signature. When I save the signature, even if I avoid tipping the
extra empty line, when I reopen the signature, MM has added the
extra line automatically. Just let the user decide if one, two, or
whatever number of empty lines they want to have after the
signature.</p>

smart mailbox! It is finding deleted and trashed messages.</p>
<p>I was about to report the following when I figured out it was a
smart mailbox problem. I changed the filter and there is no
problem</p>
<p>!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
<p>A couple/few days ago, I opened my grenning.net account on
another computer unsign Thunderbird. I could delete items.</p>
<p>This is a bit sketchy, as I did not precisely record my steps,
but deleting from Thunderbird seemed to fix Mailmate because then I
could also delete items on Mailmate. I could delete an email on
Thunderbird and immediately see the deleted email go away from
Mailmate.</p>
<p>Today couldn't delete emails from Mailmate. Sometimes pressing
delete 2 or 3 times worked. If I delete from Thunderbird, then
Mailmate showed a little trash can icon next to the message and did
nothing else. An hour later I did the same thing and get..... Aha
moment on the smart mailboxes!</p></div>tag:freron.lighthouseapp.com,2010-08-25:Event/400164712024-03-06T13:47:06Z2024-03-06T13:47:06ZChristian MeinerdingMailMate: Email are missing in MailMate (using Mailmate in combination with Apple Mail and/or GMail) [#3339]<div><p>Hi MailMate users,</p>

<li>Mac: MailMate</li>

<p>Recently I'm noticing more and more that certain emails are no
longer findable in MailMate. Especially if it is a longer thread,
certain emails which I can see in gmail.com and do not see when
searching for in MailMate.</p>
<p>Maybe this has something to do with how the combination of GMail
as provider, MailMate and AppleMail work together? I'm really
clueless.</p>

<p>Here's the combination of what works and does not work:</p>
<ol>
<li>Sending a signed email from Mail.app to a gmail.com account:
works; gmail UI shows green check mark.<br></li>
<li>Sending a signed email from MailMate.app to an iCloud.com
account, retrieving on another mac with Mail.app: works, UI
indicates all is fine with the certificate.<br></li>
<li>Sending a signed email from MailMate.app to a gmail.com
account: gmail UI marks Email as "tampered with".</li>
</ol>
<p>Between these combinations it would appear that MailMate is a
necessary condition (though not sufficient) for this problem to
arise.</p></div>tag:freron.lighthouseapp.com,2010-08-25:Event/400149782024-03-05T19:01:10Z2024-03-05T19:02:39ZMaximilian HeldMailMate: s/mime signed emails are flagged as "tampered with" by gmail [#3338]<div><p>I have an S/MIME certificate on my mac.</p>

solution. I'm only seeing this duplicate sent items behavior on one

setting that might be changed? Can anyone point me where to
look?</p></div>tag:freron.lighthouseapp.com,2010-08-25:Event/400141322024-03-05T07:13:53Z2024-03-05T07:13:53ZR PearsonMailMate: R Pearson Electrical and Plumbing Ltd [#3337]<div><p>Welcome to R. Pearson Electrical & Plumbing, a family-run
