Glitch with Send Later
Reported by Robert Brenstein | June 12th, 2026 @ 09:47 PM
My system: MailMate/6290/D50E956B-AD1D-520A-893D-148873F43CD0 14.8.5/arm64/MacBookPro18,1/10
When I create new emails, they have 10 min delay for sending by default. That is my setting. Normally, I just leave it at that. Sometimes, however, after I click Send, so the email goes into the queue, I decide that I want to send the given email right away. If I then edit the email to remove the delay and click Send, the mail is not sent right away but continues in the pending state. This is regardless whether I also edit the content of the email or not.
If sending the email is really urgent, I just Edit As New Mail, remove the delay, and it sends right away, so the workaround is easy. I use this setting for many years and it used to work without a problem. This glitch popped several versions ago, but I am not sure exactly when since I upgrade only sporadically.
