Freron MailMate

This is related to Ticket #1678, but I'm creating this new ticket for a more specific current need rather than resurrecting a 7-year old ticket.

I often have the need to look at the full headers for a particular message, including all of the Received headers. This is especially important when trying to diagnose phishing or spam, as well as when the sender used a mailing list or BCC.

The existing Show Raw Message option mostly works fine for smaller messages. The problem occurs when the message is very large, especially when it contains multiple attachments. MailMate displays these messages fine initially, but it chokes when using the Show Raw Message feature. It can take a long time (roughly a minute) for the parser to display the raw content. But lately, more often than not, I find it tends to crash MailMate completely or cause a memory leak where my Mac eventually prompts to force quit the app.

The irony is that I don't need to see the raw encoded MIME base64 text for these huge messages, which is what it is spending all that time and effort trying to display. I only need to see the headers, which are roughly the top 30 lines. That should be an extremely fast task for any mail client to do without using a ton of memory or crashing. Even Outlook, which I'm sure many of us are not fond of, has always had an option to show "Internet Headers" under "File > Properties", which can then be copied and pasted somewhere else if needed.

Please consider this hopefully simple request as a critical feature for those of us who need to troubleshoot e-mail delivery issues on a regular basis.
