How can I change the font in plain text when composing and viewing incoming emails?

I've recently started using your MailMate programme. So far,
I've only managed to figure out how to change
the font size in the folder view and email preview, but not when
I'm composing a plain-text email or in the
inbox itself. Please could you help me with this?

I’m guessing you set the folder view and preview view via “View > Choose Font...”. You can adjust the font (size) in the mail list and in the composer in exactly the same way. Click on the view you want to customize, and then adjust the font (size). The preview in the composer uses the same settings as the preview in the main window.
