Feature request: Thread counters

It would be useful to have the Threaded view provide counters for the number of messages and unread messages in a thread tree. This is a useful feature that exists in whole or part in TBird (and its derivatives like Postbox and Eudora OSE,) Mail.app, and classic Eudora. This is particularly useful for active mailing lists where reading triage is aided by knowing how big of a project it is going to be to catch up with a particular conversation.
