Sent Mails where Moved to Archive when using Correspondence-View
Reported by Conrad Hellmann | September 6th, 2016 @ 03:23 PM
When i replied to an E-Mail and Click on "Archive" (to Move the
Received Mail to the Archive-Folder) then both E-Mails (the one
received AND the reply) are moved to the Archive Folder, but Only
when MailMate is in Correspondence-View and when "Organized by
Thread" is Enabled.
My Reply should stay in the "Sent" folder

This is still the case as of now. Is this considered a bug or "works as designed"?

Sorry about the late reply. It's partly because I don't have a good answer for you. The problem is that both message lists (main and correspondence) support archiving (it's essentially the same code). I'm not sure everyone would expect the same behavior, because it becomes kind of ambiguous with two message lists and a message view. The main list, at least, should be capable of archiving a thread.
I guess I could make the Correspondence list behave a bit differently such that it does not include unexpanded messages -- and then see if anyone complains :)
Actually, this might work well: Only include unexpanded children in the correspondence outline when it is focused. Most of the time the focus is in the main message list or the message view.
The above is in the next update. Let me know how it works out for you.
