Address Look Up not working

Hi,
I have smart groups in apple's Contact App and previously could
access these and send emails but when I hit 'Address Lookup' in the
composer window nothing happens.. the window freezes for a bit then
goes back to normal after 30 seconds.
Could you suggest how to fix this please?

The problem might be that you have disallowed MailMate access to Contacts. Check the following in System Preferences: Security & Privacy ▸ Privacy ▸ Contacts. Could you check that?
