
New gmail account shows as disconnected

I have multiple gmail accounts that I monitor because I manage a few online organizations. I have one account that simply says "disconnected" and won't connect.
I searched the tickets and found https://freron.lighthouseapp.com/projects/58672/tickets/1493-cant-s.... Unfortunately, the ticket is marked as spam, and the final comment says the issue is resolved with no explanation.
Is there a limit to the number of gmail accounts?

No, there's no limit. Try sending me a screenshot of the IMAP account settings window using “Help > Send Feedback”.
(At some point in the past all tickets were marked as spam, some server bug, and many are in a limbo-state now. Eventually I'll switch to a different system.)
