UIDPLUS extension

Can there be an option to use this extension or not. I want to use mailmate but my email imap provider do not have this functionality turned on.

    First, thanks for trying out MailMate. I'm sorry it doesn't work with you IMAP provider.

    Currently, MailMate relies on the UIDPLUS extension to work correctly (and efficiently). It is going to require a non-trivial amount of work to do this without the UIDPLUS extension. It may be added in the future, but this is far from certain.

    You are not the first to ask, so I'll look into what could be done as a minimal solution even if it is going to be an inefficient solution.

    I'll close this ticket for now since I do not want the above to be interpreted as a promise for MailMate to ever work without UIDPLUS, but you and others are welcome to add additional comments.

    As promised, I have looked into this subject again, and I am glad to tell you that you can expect non-UIDPLUS to be supported in the next update. I'll have some users testing it and hopefully they are not going to find any major issues with the implementation.
