Upgrading to Mavericks, I had to uncheck the option to Enable 2.0 features
Reported by Gerald Grow | October 5th, 2014 @ 05:04 PM
A fix, FYI:
I updated MailMate 1.7.2 from Mountain Lion to Mavericks on a MacBook Pro.
After the update, one of my IMAP accounts hung during the automatic check-for-mail after I woke it from sleep. I had to quit Mailmate and restart after every sleep.
Looking for a fix, I went to Preferences and unchecked the option to Enable Experimental 2.0 features.
Now Mailmate checks mail as usual on that account after waking from sleep.

Thanks Gerald. I'd like to know more about this problem. Can you still reproduce it if you enable 2.0 features?
If yes, then try updating to the latest beta in the Software Update preferences pane. Do you then still see the issue?
The main difference when enabling 2.0 features should be that rules are then enabled for mailboxes. Do you have any rules defined for any of your mailboxes?
