Random Crash
Reported by Bruce Steinberg | September 25th, 2014 @ 12:49 PM
I was writing an email and had a custom search in the main window, when MailMate crashed due to:
Application Specific Information:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException',
reason: '*** -[__NSArrayI objectAtIndex:]: index 6 beyond bounds [0
.. 5]'
Crashlog attached.

Well, it did it again, as I was typing in the CC field. The issue appears to be related to autocomplete happening "off screen". In order to see the addresses from the email in the main window, I had the compose window pushed off the screen a bit. In the direction of my desktop spanning, though I am using modern style (in which each desktop is its own space), so the window did not span to my other monitor.

- State changed from new to cantreproduce
Thanks, I've had 1 other report about this, but I've been unable to reproduce it. I believe the other report also involved a secondary monitor (which I do not have).
For now I'll have to mark it as
cantreproduce
, but I welcome additional details if you can reproduce the issue. You can enable some debugging output like this:defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmDebugAddressCompletion -bool YES
Then launch from a Terminal window:
/Applications/MailMate.app/Contents/MacOS/MailMate
You'll probably want to send any output using “Help ▸ Send Feedback” to keep it more private.
Thanks in advance.
