Creating Active Links In Outgoing Messages
Reported by Richard Jones | May 20th, 2014 @ 03:06 AM
Hello.
I realize I'm probably slow as all get out, but this is driving me crazy.
I have been trying to create active links in my outgoing mail, but haven't been able to figure out how to do this. I can't find a button to create a link and (command)K does nothing in MailMate.
Can you help?
Thanks.

There is no such functionality. It would be impossible in a plain text message. In a Markdown message you can write
<http://example.com>
to create a clickable link (well, I don't think you even need to do that in most cases).Note that most receiving email clients automatically find and make links clickable.
Also note that MailMate is primarily a plain text email client although rich text emails are possible using the Markdown markup language.
I hope this helps to understand the issue.
