Yes, enable 2.0 features in the General preferences pane. Then double-click on the icon of the Inbox and you'll notice a “Rules” pane. Here you can setup conditions and a move-action for each rule.

I want to automatically move mail from my professional mailing list to a different box as there is a lot of it. So I filled out the rules as shown in my enclosure. I could not find a way to create a new mailbox so I just moved the mail to junk for the time being to see if it works. Nothing happens. No mail is transferred.

To create a new mailbox you right click an existing IMAP mailbox/account (under SOURCES) and choose “New IMAP Mailbox...”.
Your rule seems fine to me. Note that it is only triggered when new messages arrives in the mailbox -- or if you select some messages and explicitly select “Mailbox ▸ Apply Rules”. Does that help?

No joy. Still doesn't catch any of them. tons arriving, none filtered.

You can try the latest test release: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.
If that doesn't help (and I don't really think it will) then send me an example message and this file:
~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Mailboxes.plist
You can use “Help ▸ Send Feedback” to do this.

In the rule, you are filtering on the “From” header, but the value you are looking for is in the “To” header. Maybe that is the problem?
