Opening multiple emails at once

If I highlight a number of emails in a mailbox view and then do a cmd-O (open). All emails are opened and concatenated in a single window. Behavior if most other email clients, and the preferred behavior would be to open each email in it's own window.

- State changed from “new” to “closed”
Hold down ⇧ to do that (⇧⌘O). (It could/should perhaps be reversed, but the original behavior was to open multiple messages in one window.)
