delete email sync

Hi. I've had MailMate syncing for about 45 minutes, so that may be the root of the problem, but here goes: I have MailMate running on Mavericks on a latest-model MacBook Air. When I delete emails in the application, they are not appearing as deleted on the account when I check webmail. However, when I delete emails from webmail, they are being deleted in the application. My email host is Rackspace.

    This seems to have sorted itself out. Some folders are still syncing (I have a lot of mail), but the app is now syncing back to the email server. Not sure how to close the ticket, but consider it closed.

    Yes, it does sound like a problem during initial synchronization. MailMate has a fixed order of synchronization actions and therefore deleted messages are not synchronized to the server until after all messages have been fetched. I'll keep in mind that this is perhaps not always preferable.

    Thanks, Benny. Much appreciated. Yeah, maybe there's a way to prioritize syncing anything related to the inbox over downloading/syncing other folders.
