I would like to gently ask for Mailmate and iCal to work together. I like that in Mail.app I can select a date in an email and then use it to create an event in iCal.

I cannot make any promises on when such a feature will be implemented. I
have done a little experimentation with integration with iCal, but it
was far from complete (as I recall there were several unresolved
issues).[state:accepted]
