Blank titles for Message Lists

I thought you might enjoy this screenshot.
The first 20 or so of my shown mailing list all appear to have a blank title. I've selected the second one to show that there is indeed an associated message. There are many more following in the list that do have titles, some of which I even recognise.
It's not a priority at all, but I mention it because it might point to a weakness in the mailing list identification / classification system.
I'm running MM build 3900 on 10.9.
