Wav Attachment problem

I receive wav attachments from our voicemail system. In the past, "Quick Look" would play the attachment. This no longer works. Also, opening the attachment in any 3rd party player doesn't work. When I save the attachment, it will not open from the Finder. If I try to save the attachment, the entire message (including headers) is saved as a base64 text file. I can remove the headers and decode (base64 -D) the attachment and it works.
Other mail clients are able to play and/or save the attachment properly.
How can I get Mailmate to properly save this wav attachment?

The fact that it is saved as a base64 text file indicates that MailMate has trouble extracting the attachment correctly. This is not a known issue.
Is it possible for you to send me an example message? If you know how to (sounds like it) then you can edit the file and cut most of the base64-content. (I basically only need to see the message structure.) You can send it by email by using “Help ▸ Send Feedback” with MailMate.

Just to update this ticket with the result of private correspondence: The problem was that it was a message where the root body part is
audio/wav. MailMate did not handle this well. It has been fixed for the next release. -
