Improvement: allow persistent renaming of mailling lists

When renaming a mailing list, and deleting all of its content later (like the numerous cronjobs alerts I get all day on several lists at work), the list will disappear from the tree, which is understandable.
Whenever a new mail comes in, the list reappears, but with its X-List original name.
It would be nice to make the renaming persistent so that even when deleting all mails from that list, I don't have to remember to not hit Cmd-A and Del.
