Search sometimes drops to the bottom of the window

In version 1.14 (6038) I'm having issues that typically happen after coming back to my Mac, unlocking it and then trying to run a search in Mailmate (⌃ + ⌥ + ⌘ + F). When I do this the search pain goes to the very bottom of the window and I can barely see one line in the search results. The only workaround I have right now is to enable "Distortion Mode" from the view menu and then turn it off. It's been happening for a few test releases now and I'm not sure when this started happening.

I've had trouble reliably reproducing this issue, but I think I got it now and it should be fixed in the next update (that'll be r6041).
I could reproduce it by making a window vertically large (with no active search) on an external monitor with a closed laptop, then open the laptop and, finally, initiating a search. I would then see the problem on the laptop. Interestingly, it would then fix itself by closing the laptop.
(It was caused by a bug in the layout, but it was just hard to trigger this bug.)
