Rev6016 and Styles.plist

Sometime between rev 5937 and 6016, styles.plist behavior
changed. The colors specified in styles.plist no longer color full
lines in the message outline. My styles.plist is pretty simple,
only containing lines like
{ type = keyword;
keyword = 'HOPOS';
color = systemGreenColor;
},

Refer to #3267 for an explanation and resolution. My understanding is that Styles.plist is no longer supported for coloring messages. However, the new method is quite simple and works well.
