Enhancement: disable indexing specific headers
Reported by Benjamin Stiglitz | January 3rd, 2024 @ 03:53 PM
My mail system adds an x-brightmail-tracker
header
to every incoming message. As a result I have nearly 1 GB of index
just for that header. I don’t ever need to look up mail by
that header — it’s an encrypted blob [apparently] used
for spam diagnosis - so it’d be nice not to spend the disk
space and CPU time indexing it.

It would be nice to eventually make this more flexible/dynamic/efficient (not only for this header). For now, it is safe to simply delete the files related to it. But it will still be indexed for new emails.
