Issue copying Live Text (Monterey)

I'm using Monterey on an M1 device, and was happy to discover that Live Text works with attached images in MailMate - but it seems, not always:
I have en email sent from Yahoo with one picture attachment which is first shown inlined in the message text, and again as full-width under the signature.
With both instances of the image, I can highlight text. However I can only copy text from the second image. When I highlight and copy from the inline image, nothing is placed on the clipboard.

MailMate overrides how copying works in the message view (WKWebView class) for other reasons. This had the side effect of breaking live text (which I didn't know it could do). I believe it's better now: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane to get the latest test release.
