Are HTML named anchors supposed to work?

Are HTML anchors that jump to a block somewhere in the email message supposed to work (e.g. <a href="#blah">Jump somewhere</a> jumping to <a name="blah"></a> or <a id="blah"></a>)? I mainly see this in the TidBITS emails, which don't work. I click them and nothing happens. Theirs seem to have about:blank prepended (about:blank#post-57791), which could be the problem. Anyway, I'd like it if links like this could work.

    I think it used to work, but it's broken in the “new” message view. I'm not quite sure how hard it'll be to fix, but I'll take a look.
