Crash when opening attachment in new message

When I'm creating a new message with an attachment I have the habit of opening the attachment after attaching (by double clicking on it) to check if it's really the correct document. In about half of the cases this results in a Mailmate crash. I am still not able to reproduce the exact circumstances. The crash report:

    Have you allowed MailMate to send crash reports in the Software Update preferences pane?

    I couldn't reproduce this, but maybe there's something in the crash report which might help.

    Also, let me know if you do figure out what might trigger the issue.
