My Junk mailbox has stopped working

My 'Junk' mailbox is no longer showing any content, even though the spam mailboxes in my accounts have some mails in them. I tried creating a smart mailbox that just shows the contents of the various spam boxes, and that works. But of course, it doesn't have the Junk attribute that lets me right-click and empty.
So is there something I can do to reset or re-enable my junk functionality?

- State changed from new to resolved
Select the Junk mailbox of each account under Sources in the mailbox list and check the “Mailbox ▸ Mailbox Type” status of each of them.
Let me know if this does not help.

Well that's weird. I could have sworn I had already done that. But I checked now, and the main spam mailbox was not set to 'Junk' type. It now is, and everything's working again. Many thanks.
