Microsoft PGP mails not autodecrypted
Reported by John Dutsy | November 29th, 2021 @ 10:15 AM
Since a while, PGP mails coming from Office365 are not auto-decrypted anymore. It seems like these messages have a ASCII-armored PGP message inside BASE64 encoding. As a workaround I can use "Select all -> Services -> OpenPGP decrypt selection to new window" but that's not very easy of course.
Interestingly enough when I reply to the mail the decrypted contents are quoted in the reply.
The mails involved seem to have the following headers:
x-pgp-encoding-version: 2.0.2
x-pgp-encoding-format: Partitioned
x-pgp-universal-saved-content-codepage: utf-8
x-pgp-mapi-encoding-version: 2.5.0

If you have an example message then send it using “Help ▸ Send Feedback”. (I don't think I need to be able to decrypt to analyze the issue.)
Also, make sure you tried the latest test release: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.
