Saving attachment again does not change timestamp
Reported by John Dutsy | November 24th, 2021 @ 10:57 AM
When I click the 'Save attachment in default downloads folder' icon for a second or subsequent time, the file is indeed stored in the downloads folder (with a -1, -2, etc. suffix) however with the same timestamp as the first save action. This makes it very hard to find attachments back in my downloads folder. Previously Mailmate stored the file with a new timestamp so easy to find it back when sorting in Finder. Is this a bug or a feature?

(In some cases MailMate would clone an existing saved attachment for efficiency reasons, but in this case the modification date was not updated.)

It seems this issue is (partly?) back. When I use the "Save attachment in default downloads folder" and the file is already in the Downloads folder with an older date/time, nothing happens. I would expect that the file is at least touched so it's shown on top when sorting on date. Only when I do it again, the file is saved with a -1 suffix.
