Office 365 can't send
Reported by Michael Morris | November 5th, 2021 @ 06:34 PM
I have created an app-specific password, and entered it on request. Still can't send. As I understand it, Microsoft has basically killed IMAP access:

Any thoughts or additional information requested?

You need a test release of MailMate for OAuth2 to work (which is needed for Office365 now): Hold down the option key when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.
Let me know if that does not help.

Uploaded test release. It does get me further along the process. Specifically, it gets me to an authorization website where I have to login with my Microsoft account information, at which point it informs me that no such account exists. This may be because the account in question is a corporate account.
The activity viewer is as follows:
19:16:31 Handling request
19:16:31 C: QUIT
19:16:31 S: 221 2.0.0 Service closing transmission channel
19:16:31 Clearing connection to smtp-mail.outlook.com
19:16:31 Ready to run action (type: 3, retry count: 0)
19:16:31 Clearing connection to smtp-mail.outlook.com
19:16:31 Completed action (3). Observed read/write timeouts: 8/819:16:31 Handling reply

The “no such account” issue is not related to MailMate.
If it's a corporate account then I would expect it to work with Office365 servers and their settings.
If it's really
imap/smtp-mail.outlook.com
then I'm still working on making this work again. It's a different OAuth2 process and it's not quite clear how it's supposed to work (it did work in earlier releases, but something changed at Microsoft I believe.
