Search not working after move to Apple Silicon?

Howdy,
I switched my laptop from an Intel to an Apple Silicon (M1-Max) system and after migrating (I used Migration Assistant) I can't seem to do searches. I put search terms into the search box and nothing happens.

So, this is now working as it used to on 5918, after I updated today. Not sure what changed by so happy to have my search bar working again!
