Shift+Option+Right (or Left) Arrow no longer works to select text...

This worked in older versions, but not the recent ones. Currently on Version 1.14 (5842). If I select text in a message to highlight, then use shift+option+right or left arrow, I just hear a beep. In other apps, and previous MailMate versions, this would extend the highlight to adjacent words.
