IMAP Problem for Zoho Account

An IMAP Zoho account that I've used for a long time suddenly started showing this error:
MailMate encountered the following error: “Failed to fetch all new messages in “Sent”.”. Mailbox: “Sent”.
The error message is constant and I'm not sure what to do.

I continue to live with the error message, asking to either "try again" or "take account offline". I never did anything to the account; it just started behaving this way. It has become a major problem for me. The error message will interrupt anything else I'm working on, other apps in other desktops, the message demands to be answered.

I went into the Zoho mail forums last week and it looks like there are others with the same problem. So I'm thinking this is a Zoho issue. I hope to find some time, soon, to troubleshoot it there.
