“Within last N years” is confusing
Reported by John Swinbank | March 31st, 2021 @ 08:23 AM
I created a smart mailbox with the rule “Date is within last 1 years”.
I would expect that to contain any messages which are dated up to one year ago. That is, as I write this at the end of March 2021, I would expect a message from 1 April 2020 to appear in this mailbox.
Instead, this seems to be taken to mean "Message is dated within this calendar year". That is, only mail from 1 January 2021 onwards is included in the mailbox.
I think that's a bug, but it might just be ambiguous wording. In any event, this didn't do what I expected!

It's a bit ambiguous, but it's also under your control. Check the option at the bottom of the “is within” popup.
