Software update not updating

When I check for updates I see this:
MailMate 5673 is the latest version available—you have version 5673.
But traffic on the mailing list suggests we are into 57xx.
I signed up to be a patron, so I don't think my license should have expired.

I think people are talking about the test build. If you want the test build, hold option when checking for updates.

Thanks, Jeff. I will try that.
Note that this was a spinoff from another problem that a number of us are having: rules triggering seems to be broken. I will try the beta update, but a previous poster claimed that the problem was fixed by reverting from beta to release, and I was already on release.
So there's still something wrong there.
But this seems like a non-issue, so I will close it now.

Actually, sorry -- I don't think I can close this ticket. But it is ready to be closed as "INVALID."

@Robert, I am having the same issue with rules triggering being totally broken. It DOES work if I downgrade to 5673. Have you done that and still don't get proper rules triggering?

@Jake Bernstein -- Actually, I never was working on anything BUT 5673. Still the rules don't work.
I keep hoping that there's a way to log what is going on in the rules engine so that we could troubleshoot. But I couldn't find anything in the hidden prefs...
