Fantastical Bundle fails in Version 1.14 (5757)
Reported by Stefan Seiz | February 3rd, 2021 @ 01:57 PM
Hi,
at some point in time, the Fantastical Bundle stopped working. I am using MacOS 11.2 Big Sur.
When i have an E-Mail open in MailMate and then select "Commands > Fantastical > Create Event…", nothing happens at all. I do not see any errors logged in console or such.
When i run the script from the command line (providing the path to a test file as command argument), it works great after i allowed Terminal access to "Fantastical" in System-Settings > Privacy…
How can one debug this best? I.E. is there a way to see potential errors returned from bundles in MailMate or such?
PS: the BBedit Bundle also only creates an empty new Window in BBedit.
Thanks!

I have the same problem -- clicking on Fantastical/Create event does nothing.

Sorry, about the delay. This turned out to be a bug introduced in the test releases in which I accidentally had removed a helper command needed by Fantastical (and likely some other bundles). The helper command is now also universal which might make it work a little bit better on the M1 machines. The fix will be part of r5809+.

That is great news, thanks a lot!
I was already worried about you and thought you might have caught the virus or such. -
