New Message Viewer suddenly disabled?

Hi Benny,
For no apparent reason, suddenly the new message viewer stopped working on latest build (5715). Not sure if I did something while messing with defaults.

Could you perhaps have launched a different install of MailMate on your machine?
Another possibility is if you have any custom layouts installed and accidentally switched to one of them. (The test releases don't deal well with that kind of low level customizations yet.)
