Messages moved by rules sometimes still show in INBOX

I have several rules that move messages into other mailboxes. Sometimes I still see the message in my inbox, as if the rule hasn't fired. But when I look in the target mailbox, the message is there, and then when I go back to the inbox, the message has now disappeared. This is very intermittent.
I'm running r5690, but this has been an issue since at least r5686, and probably earlier.

Try enabling the “Source Mailbox” column in the message list. When you see the problem then I would expect this column to be correct. I'd like to have that confirmed.
The problem is likely related to how MailMate handles changes to the read state (or maybe flagged state) of emails. That is, MailMate somehow thinks it shouldn't remove a message from view similar to how a “read” message is kept in the Unread mailbox display until selecting another mailbox. Maybe this can help you reproduce the issue.

As you suspected, the correct mailbox shows under the Source Mailbox column, so the rule is working. MM is just delaying removing the message from my current view.
