Print scale
Reported by Nicholas Sloan | June 1st, 2020 @ 08:40 AM
I have minimum font size set to 24pt in Viewer prefs in order to
make emails easily viewable on a high res screen, but the
consequence seems to be that they print out extravagantly large. Is
there no way to control print size independently of screen size?
Could there be please? Might more flexibility here be a useful
by-product of being able to zoom HTML emails promised here?

I'm not sure why printing would be so badly affected by the minimum font size. I would think it would be proportional to what would happen without the setting.
The zoom-state is not currently used when printing (in the new message view), but I guess it makes sense to do so. It'll be a bit tricky to implement, but when the new message view is the default then you are welcome to remind me of this ticket. That would provide very detailed control of case-by-case adjustments of printing size.
In any case, your primary problem might only be solved well by having a separat minimum font size setting for printing. That is probably easy to add (at least as a hidden preference).

Thanks Benny, a hidden pref for min print size would be nice. I'm puzzled though as to whether anything else is responsible for the problem I am having. It only seems to have happened recently, but then I can't remember when I changed the min font size setting. Is nobody else experiencing this?
