Integration with ClamAV

Totally out of the blue I am now required to scan incoming and outgoing email.
I explained my email hosting does this for me...
But still...
Is there a recommended way to integrate with ClamAV? So atleast attachments are checken before sending/opening?
Love your app. And would you do a presentation on your work on/as mailmate’s sole developer at one of our CocoaHeadsNL meetups (online)? We talked about this before actually.
