Message window grows vertically each time it's opened

Each time I open a message window (File > Open Message), then close it, then open another message window, the message window's height increases by 17 pixels (as measured to the macOS Accessibility Inspector). Since I open and close a lot of message windows throughout the day, I periodically have to shrink the message window.
Happens on macOS 10.15.4 (19E287) with both MailMate 1.13.1 (5671) and 1.13.1 (5684).

Same here on macOS 10.14.6 with MailMate 1.13.2 (5672). Has been like this since at least 2020-12-06 when I emailed Benny directly with the message:
For the last few releases (not sure when it started) when a number of messages are consecutively opened, when the preview is set to be at the bottom and dragged down so as to be hidden, each opened message has an increased height until the height fills the available screen space. I think this has occurred in the past and was fixed. It does not occur in any other apps.
