Icon not showing properly in Catalina

After upgrading to Catalina I don't see the mailmate icon displayed properly. The badges (counters) are shown correctly, but the actual icon image is missing. The area where the mailmate stamp icon should be is totally transparent. This is true in both the doc and if I Cmd-Tab to switch applications.

I'm unable to upload a screenshot due to "Upload Quote Reached". Let me know if you'd like to email a screenshot and if so, where to send it.

Similar issue here. However, in my case the icon is shown in the dock but wrongly scaled. It's tiny which leads to the larger transparent space.

FYI my issue was fixed with a more recent Catalina beta release.
