URLs with trailing non-alphanumeric characters are broken

After being pasted in the body of the message, URLs ending in '-', ')', etc lose those characters and (obviously) get broken. URLs should be delimited by whitespace.
Example: https://www.njeda.com/technology_lifesciences/Technology-Business-T...

(the characters are "lost" in the sense that they are not incorporated into a clickable link; they are still present textually)
