Can't highlight subject to copy

Sometimes I need to copy out a customer code from the subject
line of emails. Often, MailMate will not allow me to highlight the
text in the subject all by itself. I try to highlight it and it
forces a highlight of multiple lines include Date and To as well. I
don't know how to get that Subject line text out in those cases.
However, there are other times when it does let me copy part of the
subject line. Can provide a video of the behavior if that
helps.
