Can backspace and delete behave differently?
Reported by Jørn Støylen | June 6th, 2019 @ 07:18 AM
I frequently use unread status as a way to remind myself to look at messages for example when I go from home to work, or vice versa. So there is often a mix of read and unread messages.
But then when I delete messages, the selection always jumps up to the message above, which would mark that message as read if it is unread.
I would like to propose that the backspace key moves the selection to the message above (as it does now), while the delete key keeps the selection where it is, effectively selecting the message below the deleted message as the deleted message disappears.
