Faulty address lookup

MM is not suggesting completion for emails that are well established in my correspondence, even if I spell them out completed with the detailed upper and lower case. My understanding was the auto-complete would draw on every folder in my active email accounts?

Related question: What exactly is the lookup protocol for autocompletion of email addresses? Are internal folders searched before Contracts, and can I add other ex-MM sources?
