clicking on reply issues

When I click on reply to an incoming email, it never goes to the top of the email, and means I have to scroll up to the top to answer. Nor does it leave a space above the "On 30 Jan 2012, at 22:10, XXX YYY wrote:"

    If you generally prefer such behavior then you should enable the top posting option in the Composer preferences pane.

    In general, MailMate tries to learn your habits for both top/bottom posting and choice of signature. You just need to explicitly select what you need in the Signatures menu in the composer (⌃⌘S).
