Repeated crash when attempting to remove Gmail
Reported by Timothy Hare | March 11th, 2019 @ 12:43 PM
Mailmate crashes every time I try to remove Gmail from Mailmate. The Gmail account is still present on restarting Mailmate.
I've been struggling to find a way to get Gmail to work in Mailmate, but it is always throttled even after removing all mailboxes other than the basic (e.g., sent, Drafts, Inbox, etc.). I gave up and just tried to delete Gmail, but I cannot even succeed with that.

I've been facing the same issue. In my case I was trying to remove a Protonmail account which was taken offline previously.

Could you both try the latest test release: Hold down option when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane (in MailMate).
@Timothy: I'd like to learn more about the Gmail issue. Could you try taking all mailboxes offline within the account except 1 and then see if that synchronizes. If it works then try taking more online until you can possibly locate a mailbox which cannot synchronize.

I already systematically took all mailboxes offline until only the Inbox was on. There was no apparent change in functionality. But I will try again.
