Feature request: have colors from styles.css apply to thread arc dots as well
Reported by Mike K | January 11th, 2019 @ 05:09 PM
It would be nice if, in thread arc pane, each dot was colored the same way the corresponding email is colored in the mailbox pane.

The next update adds a colored circle around a node (dot) if it corresponds to a colored message.

Hey, after a few weeks of use, the current feature is a vast improvement over the way things were before, but, I still find the coloring on the message arcs a little tough to see, because the colored rings are very thin.
Attached is an example of how they are now, and, a conceptual mockup showing an idea for background coloring to make the colors clearer. I'm not really particular about how it should be done, just something a little clearer than a thin circle showing the color would be fantastic. Even if the colored circles could just be thicker that would be great.
Low priority, obviously, but just a thought. Thanks!

As a quick fix I've added that the following works in the next release:
defaults write com.freron.MailMate OakThreadArcsCircleLineWidth -float 2.5

This fix works well for me, thanks! If I can make one more very minor critique: it looks like the thread arcs are maybe drawn before the colored rings, so the rings block the arcs. I think it would make more visual sense if the colored rings were in the background, with the arcs in front.
This is a very minor point, though. Thanks again for the fix.
